I just got a new CAC and had to delete my old certificates from IE (7) and AKO so that I could register the new ones. I can log onto my card and see my certificates and had no problem importing them to IE7. It is NOT a problem with my middleware or reader. I can sign documents without a problem. However, when I go to AKO, and on to the register your CAC site, when I click on the "Register" button a window pops up and another one opens that says "Select a digital certificate". There are none listed. The window is empty. And when I close it the first window starts asking for an AKO login over and over.

My computer is running Vista Home with ActivGold. I also tried it from my other computer using XP Pro and ActivClient 6.1. Same deal. I used the AKO "chat" help and the person was COMPLETELY clueless. As soon as I said that I had ActivGold she nearly fell over herself to get me off the chat even though their web site says it is supported. I then called the help desk and after walking through all the steps again, I read off the certificates that I have and they told me that they are having "issues" with the CA-19's.

Has anyone else run into this problem? Is anyone else using CA-19's?

Thanks
Brian

This same question was also posted on the AKO CAC forum.  The problem has now been rendered.  It was a problem on AKO's side, they had not updated their portal for CA's 19 and 20.  AKO has now since fixed thier portal.  Should be fine now.
