Chief,
I was having problems digitally signing (sign box grey, didn't allow me to sign), so I installed all needed items, software etc. on my father's desktop and "bam" it worked, I could sign. So I went back to my laptop and started uninstalling pureedge, reinstalling it, matter fact uninstalled all programs related to CAC and reinstalled, thinking I probably missed something and no dice! still didn't work, so I started removing programs, unwanted items in my add/remove, somehow in my frenzy of frustration, my pureedge viewer 6.5 doesn't even work now, i've system restored some much now I'm chasing my tail, can't restore beyond the few days now, running out of options. I'm normally pretty good on T/S, programs, etc, but this one got the best of me, now I have a pureedge program folder, but most are empty?? my add/remove, lists pureedge but doesn't allow me to uninstall, I try to reinstall but is says I have a previous version of PE 6.5 that has to be removed first....but I can't remove it, nor does it even open now....no forms or even the application ..
On leave, have OERs, NCOERs to sign, am way out of whack, just needed to sign....everything worked fine minus the signing, would killl to have it the way it was before, at least I could open forms....prior to all this ....a few weeks ago, when I opened PE, it would give me an error ...message, would try it a few times then it would open a form...anyhow, I am hosed bad now...any advice, what is going on with my laptop? can't remove it, it doesn't open a form or even open as an app at all.....
