CAC (Common Access Card) help for your personal computer
ABOUT CHIEF DANBERRY |
I am a CW2P (Chief Warrant Officer - Two) (Promotable) in the US Army Reserve currently assigned to Headquarters, 55th Sustainment Brigade as an AGR (Active Guard Reserve) Soldier at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. I'm currently a 915A (Unit Maintenance Technician), and was APPROVED for an MOS change to 254A (Signal Systems Support Technician) by the US Army Signal School at Fort Gordon, GA. I'm still waiting on my Career Manager at HRC (Human Resource Command) Saint Louis to schedule me for a seat in the 254A WOBC (Warrant Officer Basic Course).I designed this website because I seen a need for this information to be available to everyone and was tired of trying to find the information on AKO. I get great personal satisfaction by knowing that I am helping service members all over the world. My satisfaction / payment is helping you, if you feel it is necessary to donate I have set up that option for those who feel so inclined.I have been a computer geek since I received my first computer (a Commodore VIC 20) in January 1981.While I was deployed in 2003 to Kuwait & Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom, I worked as the SIPR (Secure Internet Protocol - Routed) webmaster for the 3d COSCOM (COrps Support COMmand) / V Corps Rear G6. When V Corps moved to Baghdad, I also assumed the duties of the Systems Administrator and became the "Go to guy" for the 3d COSCOM. I still maintained the SIPR website, but also took care of the maintenance and administrative tasks for 3 separate networks and 13 servers in our facility and assisted EU (End Users) with computer assistance. When I returned from Iraq in early 2004, I moved to the Twin Cities (Minneapolis / Saint Paul, Minnesota). I sought out being an IMR (Information Management Representative) for the 88th RRC (Regional Readiness Command). I completed Level 1 IASO (Information Assurance Security Officer), IASO Technical Level 1, and the SA/NMSC (Systems Administrator / Network Manager Security Course) at Fort McCoy, WI to become a TIER Level II technician.I have my AAS (Associate of Applied Science) degree in Network Development from Brown College in Mendota Heights, MN and am A plus certified. The Army Reserve started using CAC logon in early 2005. I quickly (once again) became the "Go to guy" in my Army Reserve Center, and Minnesota. I thought Why stop there?, I'd couple my webpage building abilities and my knowledge of CAC and share it with you. This website is allows me to help Soldiers all over the world!!Thanks again for visiting my website. |
